Former MU player has spoken negatively about the team’s play

Gary Neville, former Manchester United defender, expressed his dissatisfaction with the team’s performance in the last match against Liverpool, which ended in a 0-0 draw.

Neville compared the current style of play to the period under former coach Jose Mourinho in 2016-2018. He noted that while keeping the goal without conceding and solid defence are positive, the level of play conducive to wins leaves much to be desired. Commenting on the result, he recognised that a draw at Anfield was a good result but expressed dissatisfaction with the quality of football on display.
